Logotypes

"Your smile is your logo, your personality is your business card, how you leave others feeling after an experience with you becomes your trademark"

A logo identifies a company or product via the use of a mark, flag, symbol or signature. A logo does not sell the company directly nor rarely does it describe a business.  Logo's derive their meaning from the quality of the thing it symbolizes. The logo identifies a business or product in its simplest form.

The logo for ‘Día Anáhuac Festival’ embodies the essence of this annual outdoor pop/rock music celebration held at Anahuac Universities. Inspired by the vibrant spirit of the event, the logo features the university’s signature colors of orange and brown, symbolizing the day and night aspects of the festival’s duration. The divided silhouette reminiscent of talavera poblana pays homage to the rich cultural heritage of Mexico, while three rows of figures represent the diverse Anahuac Community—students, teachers, and administrators.

To honor the festival’s roots in Mexico City and its expansion to the City of Puebla, iconic landmarks such as the Cathedral and the Star of Puebla Ferris Wheel are prominently featured. These elements serve to anchor the festival within its cultural and geographical context.

Additionally, a secondary logo was crafted incorporating the university’s official mascot, the lion, to evoke a sense of unity and pride among participants. The inclusion of the majestic volcanos, Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl, not only pays tribute to their ecological significance but also adds a touch of mythical allure, rooted in Mixtec legend.

Together, these elements converge to create a visually compelling representation of ‘Día Anáhuac Festival,’ capturing its essence as a celebration of community, culture, and student life.”
